The EFB ECOLAN K5457.2 is a 2 m yellow Cat 5e SF/UTP network patch cable for Gigabit and 2.5 Gbit Ethernet in offices, desks and patch panels. Part number K5457.2 (EAN 4049759030339) combines an overall foil and braid screen over four unshielded pairs, AWG 26/7 copper-clad aluminium (CCA) conductors and a PVC jacket.
Moulded anti-kink boots, a locking-lever guard and a length imprint on the boot keep patching tidy and easy to trace. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Before you buy
The conductors are CCA (copper-clad aluminium), not solid copper, and the jacket is PVC, not halogen-free — EFB states “Halogen free: No”. That is fine for ordinary data patching, but choose a copper LSZH cord (for example EFB ECOLAN K551x Cat 6 S/FTP) for PoE cameras or access points, for buildings that require LSZH, or for 5–10 Gbit links. EFB publishes no PoE class for this cable.
