The EFB-Elektronik E-20072 is a shielded RJ45 keystone jack in Cat.6 Class E, rated up to 250 MHz, with tool-free termination and GHMT type approval. EFB describes it as a combination of excellent transmission quality and easy tool-free assembly, with very good properties for 5 Gigabit Ethernet applications. It clicks into keystone patch panels, wall outlets and frames, so the same jack can be used at both ends of an installation cable.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This is Cat.6 / 250 MHz, not Cat.6A: for a 10GBASE-T channel choose EFB’s E-20070 Cat.6A 500 MHz keystone instead. It is a shielded (STP) jack — use shielded installation cable and a grounded panel or outlet to get the benefit of the shield. EFB does not publish the AWG range on its product page; tell us your cable and we check it. Tell us the model you have and we check it before you order.
