The EFB 691102 is a set of 50 M6 captive nuts for front mounting in 19-inch racks. Each set includes a cage nut, an M6 × 20 mm Phillips (PH3) screw and a washer — enough to mount around a dozen devices, panels or shelves at four points each.
Unlike classic cage nuts, which have to be squeezed in from the back of the rail, these nuts snap into the square hole of the 19-inch profile from the front. EFB sums it up as no more wounded fingers. The set is made of steel and nylon.
Before you order: These are M6 captive nuts for square-hole 19-inch rails. They do not fit rails with round or pre-threaded holes.
