This wired configuration suits a till with an Ethernet connection and avoids paying for an integrated wireless module. Two serial ports and a voltage-selectable cash-drawer connection help integrate existing POS equipment; check pinout and voltage before connecting it. Plan a licensed operating system or supported Linux image before deployment.

RS-232 serial, USB and an EPSON-pinout cash-drawer port give you several integration routes. Match the peripheral interface and drawer voltage rather than treating every RJ connector as Ethernet.

One cable to a customer display

The full-function USB-C output combines video, data and up to 27 W power for a compatible customer-facing display. The display, mount and cable are optional.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this SKU include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth?

No. This SKU omits the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth module. Use its Gigabit Ethernet port or separately verified external hardware.

Is it ready to run my POS application?

No OS is installed. Supply an appropriate licensed image; Elo pretested the platform with SuSE, Ubuntu and Red Hat. POS application licensing is separate.

Can the drawer or customer display be connected directly?

A compatible 12/24 V EPSON-pinout drawer uses RJ12; default output is 24 V. Compatible Elo customer displays use USB-C. Confirm connector, voltage and the total 60 W I/O budget first.
