Emtec B110 Click Easy 32 GB — 100% Recycled Plastic, Spring Slider

32 GBUSB 3.2 Gen 1, Type-A100% recycled plastic bodySpring slider, no cap

The Emtec B110 Click Easy is a 32 GB USB 3.2 Gen 1 flash drive whose body is moulded from 100% recycled plastic, supplied in FSC-certified card and rPET packaging. The connector rides on a spring-loaded slider — click it out, click it back — so there is no cap. It measures 21 x 57 x 12 mm and has a hanging hole moulded into the end.

Compatibility — check before buying:
This is a USB Type-A drive with no USB-C connector and no adapter in the pack, so it will not enter a phone, a tablet or a USB-C-only laptop. ???? Do not confuse this with ECMMD32GB123. That is the Emtec B120 Click Secure — same capacity, same shape, one digit different in the code, and a materially different product: much faster, and supplied with EncryptUSB security software. If you were told to buy an encrypted Emtec drive, this is not it. On speed, be clear-eyed: Emtec publishes 20 MB/s read and 10 MB/s write for the B110 family and its own footnote does not name a tested capacity, so treat those as family figures. They are slow — this is a drive for documents and photographs, not for video or disc images.

Best For

✓ Documents, spreadsheets, presentations and photographs
✓ Organisations that care about the recycled content and the packaging of what they buy
✓ Handing out at events or in a classroom, where the drive may not come back
✓ Machines and laptops with USB-A ports
✓ A drive to clip on a lanyard through the hanging hole
✓ Colour-coding a set of drives — the B110 comes in several

Key Features

100% recycled plastic
Emtec moulds the body entirely from recycled plastic and ships it in FSC-certified card with rPET. If procurement asks what the environmental story is on a giveaway drive, this one has an answer.

Spring-loaded slider
Click the connector out, click it back. Nothing detaches, so nothing gets lost — which matters most on exactly the kind of drive that gets thrown into a bag.

Hanging hole
Moulded into the body for a lanyard or a keyring. The lanyard itself is not supplied.

Works everywhere without software
Emtec lists Windows 11, 10, 8 and 7, macOS X and Linux 2.6.x. No driver and no installation — it is a standard USB mass storage device.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is 20 MB/s really the read speed?
It is what Emtec publishes for the B110 family, and its own footnote does not tie the figure to a tested capacity — so treat it as a family claim. Either way it is slow by current standards. That is fine for documents and photographs, and painful for video. If you need speed at this price, look at a USB 3.2 drive whose maker publishes per capacity.
How is this different from ECMMD32GB123?
One digit, and a great deal else. ECMMD32GB123 is the B120 Click Secure: substantially faster and supplied with EncryptUSB security software. This drive, ECMMD32GB113, is the plain B110 Click Easy with no security software at all. Check the code before ordering.
Does it come with a lanyard?
No. There is a hanging hole moulded into the body, but Emtec does not supply a lanyard or a keyring with the drive.
What does 100% recycled plastic actually mean here?
That the drive body is moulded entirely from recycled plastic rather than virgin material, and that the packaging is FSC-certified card with rPET. Emtec does not publish a breakdown of sources. If you need documentation for a procurement process, ask us and we will request what Emtec can supply.
Singular Expert Insight
The B110 Click Easy is a giveaway drive with a conscience: recycled body, recycled packaging, a slider you cannot lose, and colours that make it findable. Judged as storage it is unremarkable and Emtec does not pretend otherwise — 20 MB/s read and 10 MB/s write are the numbers of a drive meant to carry a PDF, not a film. Buy it for what it is: something to hand out in quantity where the recycled content is the point and the throughput is not. If you actually need speed or encryption, the B120 Click Secure sits one digit away and does both. Both live in our USB flash drives range, and for large working files an external SSD is the right class of product.

Buyer’s Guide

Buy it if

You want an inexpensive 32 GB USB-A stick made from recycled plastic in recycled packaging, to carry documents or hand out, and slow transfers are not a problem.

Skip it if

You move video, disc images or anything large — 10 MB/s write will test your patience. Or you need encryption, or a USB-C connector.

Also consider

Emtec B120 Click Secure ECMMD32GB123 for real speed and EncryptUSB software. Silicon Power Blaze B30 for 90 MB/s read at a similar price. Any USB-C drive if a phone is involved.
