Compatibility — check before buying:
This exact 1000915 model is the ADAPT 160 USB II: a stereo, USB-A, UC-optimized version. It is not the Microsoft Teams-certified ADAPT 160T USB II (1000901), and it is not the USB-C ADAPT 160 USB-C II (1000919). Unlike ADAPT 165 variants, this model does not provide a 3.5 mm headset connection.
Best For
✓ Unified communications and softphone calls
✓ Office and home-office workstations
✓ Users who prefer two-ear call audio
✓ Computers with a USB-A port
Key Features
UC-optimized USB-A connectivity
The ADAPT 160 USB II connects directly to USB-A computers and is optimized for unified communications. EPOS also lists certification for platforms including Zoom, Google Meet, Works With Chromebook, Webex by Cisco and Avaya.
Noise-cancelling microphone
The boom microphone uses noise-cancelling technology to reduce surrounding sound during calls. Its published microphone frequency response is 100 Hz to 8 kHz.
Stereo audio for work and multimedia
The double-sided on-ear design provides stereo listening with a published headphone frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, allowing the same headset to handle calls and everyday computer audio.
Inline controls and folding boom
The USB cable includes inline controls for everyday call handling, volume and microphone mute. The microphone boom folds away when not required, helping keep the headset compact for storage.

Singular Expert Insight
The ADAPT 100 family contains several very similar-looking variants, so the article number matters. 1000915 is specifically the stereo, USB-A, UC-optimized ADAPT 160 USB II. It is not the Teams-certified 160T, not the USB-C version and not an ADAPT 165 with 3.5 mm connectivity. For organisations using standard USB-A workstations and multiple UC platforms, this is the straightforward two-ear model in the range.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You need a stereo USB-A business headset for UC calls, online meetings and general computer audio, with inline controls and a noise-cancelling microphone.
Skip it if
You specifically need Microsoft Teams certification, native USB-C, a 3.5 mm connection, wireless mobility or a single-ear headset.
Check first
Confirm the workstation has USB-A and that your organisation wants the UC model rather than the Microsoft Teams-certified 160T variant.
