The EPOS ADAPT 560 II is the second generation of the ADAPT 500 Series: an on-ear, dual-sided Bluetooth headset with a boom arm that folds away into the headband when the call ends. Article 1001160 is supplied with the BTD 800 USB-A dongle for the computer, while Bluetooth 5.0 holds the phone at the same time. EPOS publishes hybrid ANC driven by four microphones, up to 41 hours of talk time with ANC off, and a headset weight of 232 g. The second generation brought a new headband and softer ear pads for long shifts.
Compatibility — check before buying:
The ADAPT 560 II and the ADAPT 561 II differ in one thing only: the dongle connector. This article ships the BTD 800 in USB-A and a USB-A cable with a USB-C end. Pick the one your machines have rather than adding an adapter. Two further things to know before ordering: there is no analogue 3.5 mm cable in this box — unlike the ADAPT 300 Series — so this will not plug into a legacy desk phone or an aircraft socket; and EPOS routes the dedicated Microsoft Teams button through the BTD 800 USB-A dongle, so Teams behaviour depends on the dongle being connected.

Two beamforming MEMS microphones sit on a boom arm covering 100 Hz to 10,000 Hz. The arm rotates up into the headband when you are not on a call, and mutes as it does.

Up to 46 hours of listening and 41 hours of talk with ANC off, dropping to 24 hours of each with ANC on, plus up to 81 days of standby. A full charge takes 3 hours 40 minutes.
Second-generation comfort
EPOS describes the II generation as a new headband and softer ear pads for long-term wearing comfort, on a dual-folding frame that packs into the supplied carry case.
