EPOS IMPACT SC 260 — Stereo Headset for Desk Phones
Easy DisconnectStereoNoise-cancelling micActiveGard
The EPOS IMPACT SC 260 (1000515) is a robust double-sided wired headset designed for desk-phone users in contact centres and professional offices. It combines EPOS Voice technology, a noise-cancelling boom microphone, Easy Disconnect connectivity and a lightweight metal-reinforced headband for dependable everyday communication.
Compatibility — check before buying:
The SC 260 uses an EPOS Easy Disconnect (ED) headset connector and is designed for desk-phone installations. It does not plug directly into a standard USB or 3.5 mm socket. A compatible EPOS bottom cable or connection accessory matched to your telephone is required.
Best For
✓ Contact centres and call centres
✓ Professional desk-phone users
✓ Long daily calling sessions
✓ Existing EPOS Easy Disconnect setups
Key Features
Noise-cancelling microphone
The flexible boom uses a noise-cancelling microphone designed to reduce surrounding workplace noise and improve speech transmission during professional calls.
Easy Disconnect connection
EPOS Easy Disconnect lets the headset separate quickly from a compatible telephone connection cable, useful for users who regularly need to leave their desk without removing the headset.
Designed for all-day comfort
At 89 g, the double-sided headset uses acoustic foam ear pads with soft leatherette covers and the CircleFlex dual-hinge earcup system for a secure fit during extended use.
ActiveGard hearing protection
EPOS ActiveGard technology is designed to protect users against acoustic injury from sudden sound bursts, with the ED version limited to a maximum sound pressure of 103 dB.

Singular Expert Insight
The critical buying detail is the connector. 1000515 is the SC 260 Easy Disconnect desk-phone model, not the visually similar USB version. That makes it a good choice for established professional telephone installations because the headset can be separated from its bottom cable without removing it. It also means the correct telephone-specific ED cable is essential. For direct USB computer use, choose an SC 260 USB variant instead.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You need a durable double-sided professional headset for a desk phone and already use, or can add, the correct EPOS Easy Disconnect connection cable.
Skip it if
You need a headset that connects directly to USB, USB-C or a 3.5 mm socket. This specific version is built around the EPOS Easy Disconnect interface.
Good to know
The SC 260 is the double-sided model. If you want to keep one ear open to your surroundings, the closely related SC 230 is the corresponding single-sided Easy Disconnect headset.
