The EPOS IMPACT SC 660 ANC USB is the one headset in the IMPACT 600 Series with active noise cancellation for the person wearing it, and it can be switched off when you want the room back. Article 1000650 is a double-sided wired USB headset weighing 110 g, with a neodymium speaker covering 50 Hz to 18,000 Hz and an ultra noise-cancelling boom microphone. A proximity sensor answers a call when you pick the headset up, puts it on hold when you take it off, and resumes it when you put it back on, which removes most of the reaching for the mouse during a busy shift.

Compatibility — check before buying:
The cable is fixed USB-A. On a USB-C-only laptop it needs a hub or an adapter, and EPOS does not publish a USB-C version of the ANC model. There is also no 3.5 mm jack and no Easy Disconnect on this article, so it cannot be used with a mobile or with a deskphone headset port. Watch the name as well: the IMPACT SC 660 USB ML is a different article with no ANC and no proximity sensor, and the SC 630 is the single-sided version. If a 3.5 mm jack with a detachable USB cable is what you actually want, that is the SC 665.

Does the ANC work for me or only for the caller?
Both, but they are separate systems. The active noise cancellation reduces what you hear and can be switched off. The boom microphone separately cancels noise for the person on the other end.
Is there a USB-C version?
Not of the ANC model. EPOS publishes USB-C as separate articles elsewhere in the IMPACT 600 Series, such as the SC 665 USB-C, but the SC 660 ANC is USB-A only.
What is the difference from the SC 660 USB ML?
The SC 660 USB ML has no active noise cancellation and no proximity sensor. The names are close enough that it is worth checking the article number on the quote.
Can I use it with my phone?
No. There is no 3.5 mm jack and no Easy Disconnect connector on this article, so it connects to a computer over USB and nothing else.
