The EPOS IMPACT 1060 is a double-sided on-ear Bluetooth headset built for open-plan and hybrid working, with the EPOS AI adaptive microphone that decides for itself how hard to work against the room. This article, 1001134, is the UC-optimised version, weighs 171 g, and comes with the BTD 800a USB-A dongle, a 1.2 m USB-C to USB-C cable and a soft carry pouch. Compatibility — check before buying:
The dongle in this box is the BTD 800a and it is USB-A. If your laptop only has USB-C ports you will need your own adapter or hub — EPOS does not supply a USB-C dongle or a USB-A to USB-C adapter for any article in this series, and there is no second dongle in the box. The supplied cable is USB-C to USB-C, which is worth checking against your ports too. There is no 3.5 mm jack, so a desk phone or any device without Bluetooth cannot use this headset. This is the UC article. EPOS publishes it as optimised for UC and does not publish Microsoft Teams certification for it, so if Teams certification matters in your organisation order the T article instead. The most important point: this article has no active noise cancellation. Within the IMPACT 1000 series only the articles with ANC in the name carry it, and this is not one of them — what you get here is the adaptive microphone, which cleans up your voice for the other side, and the passive isolation of the ear cushion. The CH 40 wireless charging stand is also not included; EPOS sells it as article 1001139.

The second is the letter T, which is Microsoft Teams certification and nothing else. This article is the 1060, double-sided, UC optimised. The third thing, and the one that actually causes returns, is ANC: the series is marketed with hybrid adaptive ANC, but EPOS only puts it in the articles that say ANC in the name — so if noise in your own ears is the problem, this article will not solve it and you want the 1060 ANC or 1060T ANC instead.
