The EPOS IMPACT D 10 USB ML is a complete DECT system rather than a single headset: a lightweight single-sided headset plus its own base station, which plugs into the computer over USB. Article 1000998 is the EU II version, built for the European DECT band. EPOS publishes up to 180 m of range in free line of sight and up to 55 m inside a typical office building, so a call can carry on away from the desk. Two wearing styles are supplied, a detachable headband and a bendable ear hook, and a 20-minute charge covers half a battery.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This is the USB ML article, which means it talks to a PC only. There is no deskphone connection of any kind on this base station: if the seat needs a desk phone, the IMPACT D 10 Phone is the article to order, and it ships an audio phone cable in place of the USB cable. DECT band matters as well — this EU II article works on 1880 to 1900 MHz, while the US article 1000999 is a different band, not a packaging variant. The neckband wearing style is an accessory and is not in the box.
