EPOS publishes this today as IMPACT SC 230 USB MS II; the older Sennheiser-era name for the same product was SC 230 USB MS II.

Compatibility — check before buying:
Do not confuse this with the plain IMPACT SC 230, article 1000514. The visible name is almost identical but that one is the Easy Disconnect desk-phone version with no USB at all — and it does not even include a cable to plug into anything. This article, 1000578, is the USB-A softphone headset, complete and ready to use. Beyond that: it is USB-A only, with a fixed cable, no USB-C option and no 3.5 mm fallback, so it will not serve a desk phone, a tablet or a phone. On a USB-C-only laptop you would need an adapter. IMPACT SC 230 (1000514) is the Easy Disconnect desk-phone model with no USB connection and no cable included at all. The names look nearly identical in a listing. Order by article number.
Will it work on a USB-C laptop?
Only with an adapter. The cable is fixed USB-A and EPOS publishes no USB-C version of this exact article. A simple USB-C to USB-A adapter works, but if you are buying for a fleet of USB-C machines it is worth telling us so we can suggest a natively USB-C model instead.
What changed in the II version?
