EPOS IMPACT SDW 60 HS Double-Sided DECT Headset Element for the SDW 5000 Series
Headset element onlyFor SDW 5000 Series basesUp to 14 h talk timeUp to 180 m DECT range
The EPOS IMPACT SDW 60 HS is the double-sided headset element of the IMPACT SDW 5000 Series — a spare or second headset for a system that is already installed. EPOS describes article 1000633 as the double-sided headset for the SDW 5066, SDW 5065, SDW 5064 and SDW 5063. It is not a standalone product: DECT headsets pair to a base station, and the base is what carries the USB or deskphone connection. Buy it for a seat that already has an SDW 5000 base, or buy it together with one.
Compatibility — check before buying:
There is no base station, no power supply, no USB cable and no Bluetooth dongle in this box. On its own this headset cannot connect to a PC or to a phone. It needs an SDW 5000 Series base — for Cyprus that is the IMPACT SDW 5 BS EU/UK/AUS, article 1001027, the three-in-one base covering deskphone, PC and Bluetooth. The US base 1000681 uses a different DECT band and is not interchangeable. Note also that our distributor feed describes this headset as having ANC: EPOS publishes no active noise cancellation for the SDW 60 HS, only a dual-MEMS noise-cancelling microphone.
Best For
✓ Replacing a worn headset on an existing SDW 5000 seat
✓ Adding a second headset to a base already installed
✓ Shared desks where two people need their own headset
✓ Sites standardising on the SDW 5000 platform
✓ Spares held on the shelf for a contact centre
✓ Seats that need a dual-ear DECT headset once a base is in place
Key Features
Headset element, not a system
EPOS lists this article as the double-sided headset for the SDW 5066, 5065, 5064 and 5063. Everything else in a working setup — base, power supply, cables — comes with the base station, not with this.
Up to 14 hours of talk time
Up to 14 hours in narrowband, 11 hours in wideband and 9 hours in super-wideband, with a 50 percent charge in about 30 minutes and a full charge in about an hour and a half.
Dual MEMS noise-cancelling microphone
Two digital MEMS microphones on an adjustable boom arm handle the outgoing voice. EPOS publishes no active noise cancellation for the wearer on this headset.
Up to 180 m of DECT range
Free line of sight up to 180 m and up to 55 m inside a typical office building, on the EU DECT band of 1880 to 1900 MHz.

Singular Expert Insight
This article is the one people order by accident. It reads as a DECT wireless headset at an attractive price, and it is — but it is the headset half of a two-part system, so on its own it does nothing. If the seat already runs an SDW 5000 base, this is exactly the right spare. If it does not, add the SDW 5 BS 1001027, or buy a complete SDW 5065 or SDW 5066 bundle instead and keep the ordering simple. Complete systems and standalone headsets sit together in Office and VoIP Headsets; wired alternatives are in Headphones. Tell us what is on the desk today and we will confirm whether this alone is enough.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You already run an SDW 5000 base and need a second or replacement double-sided headset for that seat, with up to 14 hours of talk time.
Skip it if
You do not already own an SDW 5000 base station. On its own this headset cannot connect to anything, and the base is a separate purchase.
Also consider
The IMPACT SDW 5 BS EU/UK/AUS base, article 1001027, to complete the system, or the SDW 30 HS 1000632 if a single-ear headset suits the seat better.
