EPOS PC 8 USB — Stereo USB Headset with In-Line Control
Stereo on-earUSB sound cardVolume & mute controlNoise-cancelling mic
The EPOS PC 8 USB (1000432) is a lightweight wired stereo headset for online calls, remote work, study and everyday communication. It connects through its integrated USB sound card and provides in-line volume and mute controls, while the unidirectional noise-cancelling microphone helps reduce background noise during conversations.
Compatibility — check before buying:
EPOS specifies the PC 8 USB for PC and Mac. This is the USB version of the headset, not a 3.5mm analogue model, so your computer must have a suitable USB connection.
Best For
✓ Voice and video calls
✓ Remote working
✓ Online learning
✓ PC and Mac computers
✓ Two-ear stereo listening
✓ Simple plug-and-play setups
Key Features
Stereo earpiece design
The binaural on-ear design provides audio through both earpieces, helping reduce distractions from the immediate environment and allowing you to focus more closely on calls and computer audio.
In-line volume and mute control
Controls built into the cable let you adjust listening volume and mute audio without needing to switch away from the task or call on your screen.
Noise-cancelling microphone
The unidirectional microphone uses noise-cancelling technology to reduce surrounding background sound picked up during speech. The noise-cancelling feature applies to the microphone, not to the headphones.
USB plug-and-play connectivity
The integrated USB sound card provides direct wired connectivity for compatible PC and Mac computers, while the 2m cable offers practical reach around a desk.

Singular Expert Insight
The PC 8 USB is the more practical choice over a basic analogue headset when you want direct USB audio and physical controls close at hand. Its two-ear design helps you focus more than a single-sided headset, while the in-line volume and mute control avoids having to adjust settings on-screen during calls. The main distinction to keep in mind is that its noise cancellation is built into the microphone; it should not be confused with active noise-cancelling headphones.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You need a straightforward stereo USB headset for PC or Mac calls, with a noise-cancelling microphone and convenient in-line volume and mute controls.
Check first
Make sure your computer has a suitable USB connection. This model is wired and intended for PC and Mac rather than phones or tablets without compatible USB connectivity.
Choose another model if
You need a single-sided headset, wireless operation, a 3.5mm analogue connector or active noise cancellation for the earpieces.
