The EPOS ADAPT 361 is a dual-sided, over-ear Bluetooth headset that covers both ends of a hybrid working day: active noise cancellation for focus, and two beamforming microphones for calls. Article 1001008 is the version supplied with the BTD 800 USB-C dongle, so it connects to the computer through the dongle and to a phone over Bluetooth at the same time. EPOS publishes up to 46 hours of listening and up to 39 hours of talk time with ANC switched off, on a 600 mAh battery that charges in two and a half hours. There is no boom arm — the microphones sit in the ear cups.
Compatibility — check before buying:
The only difference between the ADAPT 360 and the ADAPT 361 is the dongle connector: the 361 ships the BTD 800 in USB-C, the 360 ships it in USB-A. Everything else — acoustics, battery, case, cable — is identical, so buy the connector your machines actually have rather than putting an adapter in the chain. Note also that the supplied analogue cable is 2.5 mm at the headset end and 3.5 mm at the device end, so an ordinary 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm cable will not fit the headset. The headset charges over USB-C, which is not the same thing as the dongle connector.
