Epson Optional Dual Cassette-P1 — 2 × 500 Sheets
2 × 500 sheets1,000 sheets addedGenuine EpsonAM-C4000 · C5000 · C6000 · M5500
The Epson Optional Dual Cassette-P1 (C12C936871) adds two paper cassettes of 500 sheets each — 1,000 sheets in total — to WorkForce Enterprise AM-C4000, AM-C5000, AM-C6000 and AM-M5500 MFPs.
It is the standard way to raise paper capacity on these high-speed A3 inkjet MFPs and keep more paper sizes loaded.
Before you order: Note: this is a dual unit with 2 × 500 sheets, not a single 500-sheet cassette. Epson USA states it brings total capacity to 2,150 sheets with the main unit. A Paper Cassette Lock is sold separately.
What's in the Box
- 1 × Epson Optional Dual Cassette-P1 (two 500-sheet cassettes)
What It Means in Practice
- Two extra cassettes of up to 500 sheets each.
- Epson USA: each cassette takes paper up to 11 × 17" (A3 class) and total capacity with the main unit reaches 2,150 sheets.
- Keep different sizes (A4 and A3, for example) loaded at the same time.
What Will Not Work
- WorkForce Enterprise WF-C2xxxx / AM-C10000 models.
- WorkForce Pro printers.
- Locking the cassettes — the Paper Cassette Lock is a separate Epson item.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
On an AM-series MFP the Dual Cassette-P1 is usually the first upgrade: it doubles the paper sources and adds 1,000 sheets. See our printer accessories range.
✓ Buy it if you run an AM-C4000, AM-C5000, AM-C6000 or AM-M5500 and need more capacity or paper sizes.
✕ Skip it if your Epson is a WF-C2xxxx Enterprise or a WorkForce Pro model.
→ Also consider the Epson maintenance box C12C937181 for the same MFPs.
Not sure it fits? Send us your Epson model (from the label or the printer menu) and we will confirm compatibility before you order.
