Epson S015327 Black Ribbon Cartridge for FX-2190 / FX-2190II Series
Genuine EpsonBlackWide-carriage 9-pin1 cartridge
The Epson S015327 (C13S015327) is the original black ribbon cartridge for the Epson FX-2190 and FX-2190N and the current FX-2190II and FX-2190IIN — fast 9-pin, 136-column dot-matrix printers used for wide reports, continuous invoices and multi-part logistics forms.
It covers both generations, so one spare works for a mix of older and newer FX-2190 printers.
What's in the Box
- 1 × Epson S015327 ribbon cartridge, black
- Epson retail packaging
What It Means in Practice
- Dot-matrix printing presses the ribbon onto the paper with pins, so it prints through continuous and multi-part carbonless forms — invoices, delivery notes and logistics paperwork with copies.
- Print gets gradually lighter as the ink is used; replace the cartridge when copies further down the form become hard to read.
- A worn or torn ribbon lets the pins strike bare fabric or paper, which shortens print-head life — a fresh genuine cartridge protects the head.
- Fast-drying Epson ink reduces smudging on forms that are torn off and handled straight away.
What Will Not Work
- Epson LQ (24-pin) wide-carriage printers such as the LQ-2190 or LQ-2180 — different cartridges.
- Narrow FX/LX printers such as the FX-890 or LX-350.
- Inkjet or laser printers — this is a fabric ribbon for dot-matrix printers only.
- Re-inking or refilling — the cartridge is a sealed, single-use unit.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
The FX-2190 family prints a lot of characters at speed, so ribbon changes come round regularly — a spare next to each printer avoids stopping a print run. Check that your model is FX, not LQ. Other cartridges are in our printer ribbons range.
✓ Buy it if you run an Epson FX-2190, FX-2190N, FX-2190II or FX-2190IIN.
✕ Skip it if your wide printer is an LQ model or a narrow FX/LX printer.
→ Also consider Epson S015337 for LQ-590/590II; Epson S015637 for LX-350.
Not sure which one your printer takes? Send us the printer model from the label on its base or back and we will confirm the right ribbon cartridge before you order.
