The Epson TM-H6000VI-116 (C31CL25116) is the Powered USB ("P-USB" / 24V Powered USB) variant of the OmniLink hybrid POS printer with MICR cheque reader factory-installed. P-USB delivers both data and 24V power over a single connector — so the printer does not need an external power supply and the cashier counter has one fewer cable to manage. Ideal for IBM/Toshiba/NCR POS terminals that natively expose Powered USB ports.

Compatibility Note: This SKU uses the 24V Powered USB ("P-USB") interface and does not include an external PSU. Verify your POS terminal exposes a 24V Powered USB port before ordering — standard USB ports will not power this printer.

What is "Powered USB" and how is it different from regular USB?
24V Powered USB ("P-USB") combines USB data with a 24V DC power rail in a single connector — common on IBM, Toshiba and NCR POS terminals. Standard USB cannot power a 24V printer, so this SKU requires a P-USB-equipped host.
Why is there no power supply in the box?
The —116 variant draws all its power from the P-USB cable, so an external PSU is unnecessary. If your POS terminal does not have a Powered USB port, choose the —112 (Serial + PSU) or another sibling configuration instead.
How is this different from C31CL25112?
Identical hybrid hardware and MICR. The -112 ships with Serial as the primary interface plus an external PSU. The -116 (this SKU) is Powered USB with no PSU. Pick the interface that matches your POS terminal.
Can I add Ethernet later?
The Epson UB-series interface modules are option slots on many TM-series, but the —116 ships configured for P-USB primary. Confirm with your installer or Epson reseller whether your specific unit accepts an additional UB-E04 Ethernet module.
