Equip EZMB-10-B 10-inch 1U Cable Management Brush Panel for Patch Cord Entry, 1 mm Plate, Black

The Equip EZMB-10-B is a 10-inch 1U cable management panel with a brushed strip around the patch cord entry, 1 mm thick and finished in black, for passing patch cords through the front of a compact 10-inch cabinet without leaving an open gap.

In a small 10-inch cabinet every unit counts, and patch cords often have to reach the rear or run between a patch panel and a switch that are not next to each other. A brush panel lets the cords pass while the bristles close the rest of the opening, which keeps dust out and the front looking tidy. It is the 10-inch equivalent of the brush panels used in full-size 19-inch racks.

• 1 × Equip EZMB-10-B 10-inch 1U cable management brush panel, black
• Mounting hardware: not clearly stated by Equip — plan to use your own rack screws

• Takes one height unit in a 10-inch (254 mm) cabinet.
• Cords pass through the brush strip; the bristles close around them and fill the gap where there are none.
• Good position: directly above or below a 10-inch patch panel or switch.
• The 1 mm plate is light (60 g), so it adds no noticeable load to the rails.

• 19-inch racks: this panel is for 10-inch cabinets.
• Holding cables in groups: the brush passes cords through but does not guide them; add a cable manager if needed.
• Grey cabinets: the panel is black.
