Equip 112180 — Schuko Extension Cord, 1.8 m, 16 A
CEE 7/7 → CEE 7/31.8 m16 A / 3500 WVDE · GS
The Equip 112180 is a 1.8 m single-outlet Schuko extension cord: a CEE 7/7 Schuko plug on one end and a CEE 7/3 Schuko socket on the other, rated 250 V / 16 A (3500 W) on H05VV-F 3G 1.5 mm² stranded copper cable. It is for anyone who needs to bring one standard European outlet a little closer to a device — a PC, monitor, printer, appliance or power tool.
Unlike thinner extension leads, the 1.5 mm² conductors carry the full 16 A of a Schuko outlet, and Equip lists a long set of European safety approvals (VDE, CEBEC, DEMKO, FI, IMQ, KEMA, NF, NEMKO, OVE, SEMKO, GS).
Before you order: This is a Schuko (Type F) cord. In Cyprus most wall outlets are UK BS 1363 (Type G); the CEE 7/7 plug will not go into a UK wall socket without a suitable adapter. It fits Schuko outlets, Schuko power strips and Schuko-outlet UPS and PDUs.
What's in the Box
- 1 × Equip 112180 extension cord, Schuko CEE 7/7 plug to CEE 7/3 socket, 1.8 m
What It Means in Practice
- Gives you one extra metre and eighty centimetres of reach from a Schuko outlet, UPS or power strip to a device with a Schuko plug.
- 1.5 mm² copper means the cord is not the weak point even with a 16 A load such as a heater, kettle or workshop tool.
- One outlet only — it extends, it does not multiply outlets.
What Will Not Work
- It does not plug into a UK (BS 1363) wall socket on its own.
- It does not accept UK-plug devices — the socket is Schuko.
- It is not for IEC equipment (C13/C14) such as server or PC power inlets — that needs an IEC cord.
- It is an indoor cord, not an outdoor or splash-protected lead.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I connect a power strip to it?
Yes, as long as the total load stays within 16 A / 3500 W. Avoid daisy-chaining several extensions and strips.
Will it fit a French Type E outlet?
Yes. The CEE 7/7 plug is the hybrid plug that fits both Type E and Type F outlets.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
A short, properly rated Schuko extension is useful wherever equipment uses Schuko plugs — workshops, imported appliances or Schuko-outlet UPSs. The 1.5 mm² cable carries the full 16 A, so it is safe for heavier loads too. For multi-outlet power in a rack, see our
rack PDUs and accessories.
✓ Buy it if you need to extend a single Schuko outlet by 1.8 m with full 16 A capacity.
✕ Skip it if your wall sockets are UK type and you have no Schuko outlet or strip, or you need several outlets.
→ Also consider a Schuko-to-C13 cord for PCs and monitors, or a rack PDU if you are powering equipment in a cabinet.
