The Equip 125581 is a Cat.6A shielded RJ45 female-to-female inline coupler with a built-in clip for standard 35 mm DIN rails, made for joining or extending Ethernet runs inside control cabinets, automation panels and structured-cabling enclosures. It is rated to 500 MHz for 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GBASE-T), passes PoE and PoE+, and its fully shielded metal housing keeps electromagnetic interference out of the link in electrically noisy industrial environments. Compatibility — check before buying:
Designed for 35 mm (TS35) DIN rail — it is not a keystone module and does not fit wall plates or patch panels. A shielded coupler only keeps a link shielded if both connected cables are shielded (S/FTP or F/UTP) with shielded plugs; with UTP cables it still works but without the EMI benefit. Every coupler adds a connection point, so keep the total channel within the 100 m Cat.6A limit and avoid chaining several couplers on a 10 GbE run. Backward compatible with Cat.6 and Cat.5e. Cables are not included.
