The equip 260612 is a 1U, 19-inch rack-mount keyboard drawer with a built-in industrial US-layout (QWERTY) keyboard and a 14 mm optical trackball, connected by a single USB cable. It is for server rooms and network cabinets where you need a permanent keyboard and pointing device in the rack without a loose keyboard and mouse sitting on top of the equipment.
The drawer runs on telescopic ball-bearing rails, locks with a key and folds away into one rack unit when not in use. The trackball with two buttons replaces a separate mouse, so everything you need for local console work sits in the tray. Plug the USB cord into your server or KVM switch and pair it with a rack monitor or any screen you already have.
Before you order: The drawer connects over USB only, with a 1.8 m cord, and has no screen. If your server or KVM switch only offers PS/2 console ports, tell us the model and we will check before you order.

What It Means in Practice
- Occupies a single rack unit at the front of the rack; the drawer body is about 410 mm deep, so leave that much clear space behind the front rails.
- The 1.8 m USB cord reaches a server or KVM switch a few units away in the same rack.
- Normal-sized keys with Windows keys — comfortable for real typing, not just emergency console access.
- The lock keeps the drawer closed in shared or public cabinets.
What Will Not Work
- It is not a KVM console: there is no built-in monitor and no KVM switch — you need a screen and, for several servers, a separate KVM switch.
- No PS/2 connection is listed by equip; PS/2-only consoles need a USB-capable KVM or an adapter.
- Keyboard layout is US English; there are no Greek or other language key legends.
- Not for wall-mount or open frames without 19-inch front rails.
