equip 245526 — a 20 W GaN charger with USB-C and USB-A, the size of a matchbox
20 W totalUSB-C + USB-APD 3.0 with PPS36 g
The equip 245526 is a two-port mains charger built on gallium nitride, which is why a 20 W supply fits into a body measuring 70 × 32 × 32 mm and weighing 36 grams. It has one USB-C port and one USB-A port, so a modern phone and an older accessory can share the same plug. The USB-C side supports Power Delivery 3.0 and PPS, which is what lets it negotiate the right voltage for a phone rather than pushing a fixed 5 V at it. It is a charger for a bag, a bedside table or a second desk — small, light and unfussy about what you plug into it.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Read the wattage carefully before you order. 20 W is the total for the whole charger, not per port. Used alone, the USB-C port delivers up to 20 W and the USB-A port up to 18 W; used together, the two share 5 V at 3 A, which is 15 W in total — so charging two devices at once is slower on both than charging one. This is a phone-and-accessory charger: 20 W will keep most laptops alive but will not charge them at any useful speed, and a tablet will charge slowly. No cable is supplied — the box contains the charger only, so you need your own USB-C or USB-A lead. If you want the higher-wattage version for a laptop, tell us and we will point you at one.
Best For
✓ Phones, earbuds and smartwatches on a bedside table
✓ Travel, where size and weight decide what goes in the bag
✓ A second charger for the office or the car’s USB adapter
✓ Households mixing newer USB-C and older USB-A devices
✓ Nintendo Switch, iPad, iPhone and Samsung handsets
✓ Replacing a bulky charger that no longer fits behind furniture
Key Features
GaN construction keeps it small
Gallium nitride switches more efficiently than silicon, which means less waste heat and a smaller case for the same output. At 70 × 32 × 32 mm and 36 g this is a genuinely pocketable 20 W supply rather than the brick that wattage used to require.
Two ports, two generations of device
One USB-C and one USB-A. That combination matters more than it sounds: it means a current phone and an older cable-bound accessory charge from the same plug, without an adapter and without occupying two sockets.
Power Delivery 3.0 with PPS
The USB-C port negotiates 5 V at 3 A, 9 V at 2.22 A or 12 V at 1.67 A, and supports PPS from 3.3–5.9 V at 3 A and 3.3–11 V at 1.8 A. PPS lets a compatible phone request a precise voltage as its battery fills, which reduces heat during the charge.
Universal mains input
100–240 V at 50/60 Hz means it works anywhere in the world with the right plug shape, and it is CE and RoHS compliant. For a travel charger that is the specification that decides whether it comes with you or stays at home.

Singular Expert Insight
The number to keep straight on this charger is that 20 W is shared, not doubled. Bought as a bedside or travel charger for a phone plus something small, it is exactly right — GaN means it disappears into a bag and the USB-A port keeps older cables useful. Bought expecting two fast charges at once, or any meaningful laptop charging, it will disappoint. equip publishes no warranty term of its own, so the one-year Singular cover in the table is what you have. Note also that the same charger exists as a 25-piece bulk pack under a different code with no retail packaging — if you are buying for an office and would rather have the plain version, ask us. More options sit in our phone chargers section, and you will need a lead from the mobile range if you do not have one. Tell us what you are charging and we will confirm the wattage is enough.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You want a small, light charger for a phone and one small accessory, and you value having both USB-C and USB-A on the same plug. At 36 g and 70 mm long it is a genuine travel charger, and PD 3.0 with PPS gets a modern phone charging properly.
Skip it if
You need to fast-charge two devices at once — the pair share 15 W. Skip it too if you are charging a laptop or a large tablet at any speed, and remember there is no cable in the box.
Also consider
A higher-wattage GaN charger if a laptop or tablet is in the mix, and a USB-C to USB-C cable, which is not supplied. The same charger is also sold as a 25-piece bulk pack under a separate code for office rollouts.
