equip 147931 — 3-Pole XLR Female Cable Connector, Black
XLR female3-poleMetal latchChuck strain relief
The equip 147931 is a 3-pole XLR female cable connector for building or repairing balanced audio cables. It is the end that connects to a microphone or to the male XLR outputs of mixers, preamps and signal processors. The black metal housing is combined with a solid metal latch that locks securely onto the mating plug, and a chuck-type strain relief grips the cable so it resists being pulled out — important on stage and in rental use. The balanced 3-pole layout keeps audio clean and low-noise over long runs. It measures 19.2 × 19.2 × 74 mm and weighs 31 g.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Check the gender and the cable: the male XLR connector plugs into female XLR sockets (typically mixer and interface inputs), and the female connector plugs onto male XLR outputs and microphones. equip does not state the termination method (solder or screw) or the cable diameter range for this connector — send us your cable type and we confirm the fit. A single piece is sold; building one cable needs one male and one female connector. Balanced audio only works end-to-end with balanced (two-core plus shield) cable.
