equip 147930 — 3-Pole XLR Male Cable Connector, Black
XLR male3-poleBalanced audioMetal shell
The equip 147930 is a 3-pole XLR male cable connector for building or repairing balanced audio cables. It fits on the end of a microphone or line cable and plugs into the female XLR inputs of mixers, audio interfaces, amplifiers, active speakers and stage boxes. The standard 3-pin balanced layout carries clean, low-noise signals over longer runs, which is why XLR is the norm in studios, live sound, broadcasting and installed audio. The connector has a sturdy metal shell with a black housing, and equip states it is built for secure locking and long-term reliability. It measures 19 × 19 × 70 mm and weighs 29 g.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Check the gender and the cable: the male XLR connector plugs into female XLR sockets (typically mixer and interface inputs), and the female connector plugs onto male XLR outputs and microphones. equip does not state the termination method (solder or screw) or the cable diameter range for this connector — send us your cable type and we confirm the fit. A single piece is sold; building one cable needs one male and one female connector. Balanced audio only works end-to-end with balanced (two-core plus shield) cable.
