The Equip 128959 expands one USB connection into four USB-A USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, each supporting compatible devices at data rates up to 5 Gbps. An included USB-C adapter allows the hub to connect to compatible USB-C hosts as well as USB-A computers, while an additional USB-C 5V/2A power input can provide extra power when higher-demand peripherals are attached.
Compatibility — check before buying:
The four downstream ports are USB-A USB 3.2 Gen 1 data ports. The supplied USB-C adapter is for connecting the hub to a compatible USB-C host; it does not add downstream USB-C data ports. The separate USB-C 5V/2A connection is an auxiliary power input for the hub, not laptop Power Delivery passthrough. A power cable or adapter for this auxiliary input is not included.
