It suits installation into a compatible keystone outlet, faceplate or patch panel, letting you choose the surrounding mounting hardware separately. The retail set contains 8 jacks for Cat.6A cabling applications.

Compatibility — check before buying:
Check the 22–26 AWG conductor range, keystone opening and available rear clearance before installation. The jack is unshielded, so it does not provide shield continuity. Ethernet and PoE figures describe supported link applications; the complete cable, termination and connected equipment must also be suitable.

Does tool-free termination remove all cable preparation?
No. The integrated cap handles IDC termination, but the installation cable still needs correct preparation and conductor arrangement. Follow the cable and connector instructions.
Is it an RJ45 inline coupler?
No. It terminates installation cable into a keystone RJ45 outlet. Use an inline coupler when you want to join two finished patch-cable plugs.
Can it replace a shielded jack?
Only if the installation is intended to use an unshielded connection. This UTP jack does not preserve a shielded cable’s shield path; select a documented shielded jack when that is required.
