The Equip EZF-4-G is a 19-inch cabinet cooling fan unit that fits into 1U of rack space and carries four 120 mm fans, designed for network and server cabinets where switches, NVRs or patch-heavy setups build up heat.
It mounts inside the rack on the 19-inch rails rather than in the roof, so it works in any standard 19-inch cabinet or open frame with free 1U, and it is finished in light grey RAL 7035 to match most grey cabinets.
Before you order: The unit needs about 354 mm of depth inside the rack. Check that your cabinet has at least this much free depth at the position you plan to use, especially in shallow wall cabinets.

What It Means in Practice
- Four 120 mm fans move air through the top or middle of the rack without drilling the cabinet roof.
- Because it is a 1U tray, it can be placed directly above the hottest device, such as a PoE switch.
- It runs from a normal mains outlet or a rack PDU, so no extra controller is needed.
- Leave 1U gaps closed with blanking panels so the air is drawn through the equipment rather than around it.
What Will Not Work
- It is not a roof-mount fan module; it will not fit the roof cut-out of a cabinet.
- It will not fit racks with less than about 354 mm of usable depth.
- It does not cool the room; it only moves air inside the cabinet, so the room air must be cool enough.
- It is not a wall-mount unit and is not for 10-inch mini racks.
