Equip Active DisplayPort 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 Adapter, 4K 60 Hz

4K @ 60 HzActive · HDR15 cm · Grey

The Equip 133445 is an active DisplayPort 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 adapter that lets a desktop or laptop DP output drive an HDMI monitor, TV or projector at up to 3840 × 2160 at 60 Hz with HDR. Because it is active it works with both plain DP and DP++ outputs, including multi-display graphics cards, and it is plug-and-play in a 15 cm aluminium pigtail.

Compatibility note: You still need an HDMI cable from the adapter to the display; for 4K 60 Hz use a Premium High Speed (18 Gbps) HDMI cable.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why choose an active adapter over a cheaper passive one?
A passive DP-to-HDMI adapter only works on DP++ ports and often tops out at 4K 30 Hz. The active Equip 133445 converts the signal itself, so it works on any DP output and reaches 4K 60 Hz — useful on graphics cards driving three or more screens.
Can I use the 133445 to connect an HDMI laptop to a DisplayPort monitor?
No. It converts DisplayPort output to HDMI input only.
Singular Expert Insight
The right adapter for adding an HDMI TV or monitor to a DisplayPort graphics card at full 4K 60 Hz, especially in multi-monitor workstations where passive adapters fail. The short pigtail avoids stressing the GPU port.
✓ Buy it if you need reliable 4K 60 Hz HDMI output from any DisplayPort port.
✕ Skip it if you need 4K 120 Hz or 8K — choose the Equip 133446 (DP 1.4 → HDMI 2.1).
→ Also consider the Equip 133446 or other DisplayPort converters.
