The Equip 128431 is a 1 m USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 cable that moves up to 20 Gbps between two USB-C ports and ships with a slide-on USB-A adapter, so the same cable still works with older laptops, docks and chargers. Part number 128431 (EAN 4015867241158) pairs an integrated E-marker for 100 W Power Delivery with DisplayPort Alt Mode video up to 4K 60 Hz, inside a braided cotton-mesh jacket with aluminium housings.
Before you buy: the full 20 Gbps rate and the video output both require a host USB-C port that supports USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 and DisplayPort Alt Mode. Through the supplied USB-A adapter the link falls back to 10 Gbps and carries no video.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the Equip 128431 and the Equip 128357?
Both deliver 100 W of Power Delivery, but the 128431 is a 1 m USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 cable rated for 20 Gbps and includes a USB-A adapter, while the 128357 is a 2 m USB 3.2 Gen 2 cable rated for 10 Gbps with USB-C plugs only. Pick the 128431 when you copy large files to and from a Gen 2x2 SSD enclosure, or when one cable has to serve both USB-C and USB-A ports.
Will it charge a laptop at full speed?
Yes, up to 100 W. The integrated E-marker allows the cable to carry 20 V at 5 A, which covers most 13 to 16-inch notebooks as well as tablets and phones. The wattage you actually get is set by the charger and the device, not by the cable.
Singular Expert Insight
At 1 m this is a desk cable rather than a reach-across-the-room cable, and that is exactly where 20 Gbps pays off: paired with a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 NVMe enclosure it roughly doubles the throughput of an ordinary 10 Gbps lead. The bundled USB-A adapter is the quietly practical part, keeping the cable useful on older desktops and docks instead of forcing a second lead into the bag.
✓ Buy it if you use a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 SSD enclosure or dock and want one short, well-built cable that also fits USB-A ports.
✕ Skip it if you only ever charge a phone — a plain USB 2.0 100 W charging cable costs far less and does the same job.
→ Also consider the Equip 128357 (2 m, 10 Gbps, 100 W) when reach matters more than transfer speed.
