equip Wired Keyboard and Mouse Combo — German Layout
German1000 DPI mouseUSB-APlug and play
A desk needs two things before anyone can use it, and this is both of them in one box. The keyboard is full size in the QWERTZ German layout, 440 x 138 x 25 mm, and the mouse is an optical unit at 1000 DPI — the resolution that suits a normal office screen without the pointer running away from anyone. Both connect by USB-A at USB 2.0, 480 Mbps, both are USB powered, and nothing needs installing: equip publishes Windows 7, 8, 10 and 11, macOS X 10.6 and above and Chrome OS. Cable length is 1.35 m, the combined weight is 353 g, and the set is black with CE and RoHS certification. This is what you buy when a new starter needs a working desk this afternoon.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Get the layout right and the rest takes care of itself. This is the QWERTZ German version, a QWERTZ board with Y and Z swapped relative to a UK keyboard; equip builds the same combo in other national layouts under different codes, so order by the part number. Three practical points. The cable is 1.35 m for both devices, which reaches a tower under the desk but not a machine across the room. The mouse is a plain three-button optical unit at 1000 DPI — there is no DPI switch, no extra buttons and no software, which is the right answer for a shared desk and the wrong one for anyone who wants side buttons. And on the gaps: equip publishes no key count, no key life, no mouse button count and no mouse dimensions for this set, so we quote none. equip prints the keyboard dimensions as 138 x 25 x 440 mm labelled W x D x H, which is transposed — the board is 440 mm wide, 138 mm deep and 25 mm tall, and that is how we quote it.
Best For
✓ Kitting out a new desk in one purchase
✓ Replacing a failed pair without matching brands
✓ Schools, receptions and shared machines
✓ Sites that need a specific national layout
✓ Windows, macOS and Chrome OS desks
✓ Buying in quantity for a rollout
Key Features
One box, one desk
Keyboard and mouse together in the right layout, both plug and play, so a new machine goes from boxed to usable in about a minute.
1000 DPI, which is the point
Fast enough for a normal office screen, slow enough that nobody loses the pointer — and there is no DPI button for anyone to press by accident.
No power, no pairing
Both devices are USB powered and wired. No batteries to run out mid-meeting and no receiver to lose in a drawer.
Cross-platform out of the box
Windows 7 to 11, macOS X 10.6 and above and Chrome OS, with no driver and nothing to sign into.

Singular Expert Insight
The value of a combo is that a desk is complete in one line on the order, and the only thing that can go wrong is the layout. Note the fixed 1000 DPI mouse — that is a feature on a shared desk. See our German QWERTZ keyboards and our wireless mice.
