Equip 133473 USB-C to USB-A Adapter, 2-Pack
Sold as a 2-piece setUSB 3.2 Gen 1 · 5 GbpsAluminium shell
The Equip 133473 is a pair of compact USB-C to USB-A adapters that let USB-A sticks, dongles, mice and card readers keep working on a notebook, tablet or phone that has only USB-C ports. Part number 133473 is supplied as a 2-piece set with an aluminium shell and passes SuperSpeed data at up to 5 Gbps, so one can live in a laptop bag and one stay at the desk.
Before you buy
The adapter converts the connector, not the protocol: a USB 2.0 stick still runs at USB 2.0, and the USB-C host has to support host mode for keyboards, drives and readers to be detected. Equip publishes no charging current and no video capability for this adapter, so use it for data and peripherals rather than for charging or display output.

Singular Expert Insight
Aluminium-shelled adapters in a two-pack are the practical way to equip a laptop user who still meets USB-A daily — presenter dongles, licence keys, older flash drives. The 5 Gbps rating means a portable SSD is not throttled, and the metal shell handles being tossed in a bag better than moulded plastic. If you need HDMI or Ethernet alongside the USB-A port, a multiport hub is the better buy.
✓ Buy it if you want two sturdy USB-A rescue adapters for a USB-C laptop, tablet or phone.
✕ Skip it if you need 10 Gbps, power delivery pass-through or video output.
→ Also consider the DIGITUS AK-300506-000-S single adapter, or a USB-C multiport hub with HDMI and Ethernet.
