equip 625494 Cat 6 U/UTP Patch Cable, 1.5 m, Black

Cat 6 · 250 MHzGigabit Ethernet1.5 m · BlackMoulded boots

The equip 625494 is a 1.5 m black Cat 6 U/UTP patch cable for Gigabit Ethernet desk, printer and patch-panel connections, rated to 250 MHz. Part number 625494 is equip's budget line with copper-clad aluminium (CCA) AWG 26/7 conductors and moulded boots with strain relief. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.

Compatibility note: This cord uses copper-clad aluminium (CCA) conductors, not solid copper. It is fine for Gigabit data patching, but equip publishes no PoE rating — for PoE access points, cameras or phones, or for 2.5G/10G links, choose a bare-copper cord such as equip Cat 6A U/UTP. equip does not publish the jacket compound for this line.

Key Features

Gigabit-ready Cat 6
Rated to 250 MHz for stable 1 Gbps links between PCs, printers, routers, switches and wall outlets.

Budget CCA construction
Copper-clad aluminium AWG 26/7 stranded conductors keep the price down for high-volume desk patching.

Moulded boots
Moulded boots with strain relief protect the RJ45 latch and reduce kinking at the plug.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the equip 625494 suitable for PoE devices?
equip publishes no PoE rating for this line, and its conductors are copper-clad aluminium, which has higher resistance than copper. For PoE access points, cameras or phones choose a bare-copper cord such as equip Cat 6A U/UTP (PoE/PoE+ rated).
Will it work with a Gigabit switch or router?
Yes. It is a Cat 6 cord rated to 250 MHz and up to 1 Gbps, and it is backward compatible with Cat 5e equipment.
Singular Expert Insight
The equip Cat 6 CCA cords are sensible for plain Gigabit desk patching where price matters most. The moment PoE, 2.5G/10G or permanent certification enter the picture, spend a little more on a bare-copper Cat 6A cord. Connects PCs to our network switches and routers.

Buyer's Guide

Buy it if
You need an inexpensive 1.5 m black Gigabit data cord for desks, printers or patch panels.
Skip it if
You are powering PoE devices or running 2.5G/10G — pick a bare-copper Cat 6A cord.
