Equip 626703 Cat 6A U/UTP Ultra-Slim Patch Cable, 1 m Grey
Cat 6A · 500 MHzØ 2.8 mm ultra-slim10 Gbps · PoE/PoE+LSZH · 1 m grey
The Equip 626703 is a 1 m Cat 6A U/UTP patch cable with an ultra-slim 2.8 mm jacket, built for 10 Gigabit Ethernet in crowded switch and patch-panel fields where standard 6 mm cords block airflow and labels.
Part number 626703 belongs to Equip's 626xxx slim family: unshielded twisted pairs, stranded bare-copper AWG 32/7 conductors, a low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) jacket and moulded boots with strain relief. The grey jacket makes colour-coding by VLAN, department or uplink simple. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Before you buy
This is an unshielded (U/UTP) slim cord with thin AWG 32/7 conductors. Thin conductors add insertion loss and warm up more under PoE than AWG 26 cords, so slim cables are meant for short patching runs inside racks and on desks, not for long channels. Equip lists PoE and PoE+ support; no IEEE 802.3bt (PoE++) rating is published.
Key Features
Ultra-slim 2.8 mm jacket
Roughly half the diameter of a standard Cat 6A cord, so high-density 24 and 48-port panels stay tidy, bend radius is tighter and front-to-back airflow in the rack is not choked.
Cat 6A 500 MHz for 10 Gbps
Rated to 500 MHz for 10GBASE-T over the short patch distances this cord is designed for, with full backwards compatibility with Gigabit and 2.5/5 GbE ports.
LSZH jacket with strain relief
Low smoke zero halogen sheath for offices and server rooms, stranded bare copper for flexibility, and moulded boots with strain relief to protect the RJ45 latch and termination.

Singular Expert Insight
Choose the Equip 626703 when rack density matters more than cable length: 2.8 mm cords make 48-port network switches and patch panels far easier to dress and label. Keep them to patching duty; for PoE++ access points or longer runs, a standard-diameter Cat 6A S/FTP cord such as Equip's 606xxx series is the more robust option.
Buyer's Guide
Buy it if
You need 1 m Cat 6A patching in a crowded rack or desk setup, want 10 Gbps headroom and prefer an LSZH jacket.
Skip it if
You need PoE++ (60–90 W), shielded cabling for a noisy industrial area, or runs well beyond patch-cord length.
Also consider
Equip 626xxx slim cords in other colours and lengths, or Equip 606xxx Cat 6A S/FTP for shielded, full-diameter patching.
