equip 227369 — 8-Port Cat.6 Shielded Desktop Patch Panel, Light Grey
8 × RJ45 Cat.6Desktop boxDual IDC LSA/110Shielded
The equip 227369 is a 8-port Cat.6 shielded patch panel for a desk, a shelf or a small office where there is no rack. It carries 8 shielded RJ45 ports rated Cat.6 Class E up to 250 MHz in a light grey steel box that stands on a desk, with dual IDC terminations for LSA and 110 punch-down tools. In practice every cable from the wall outlets is terminated once at the back and stays put, while short patch cords at the front connect the ports to your switch — so moving a desk or a phone is a one-cable change at the panel, not new cabling.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Check before buying: It is a desktop unit, not a rack panel — there are no 19″ or 10″ rack ears. Shielding only helps with shielded cable (F/UTP, S/FTP) whose shield is terminated and the panel earthed; with UTP cable it works as a normal panel. Not sure it suits your cabinet or cable? Send us the rack or cable type and we check it.
Best For
✓ Small offices without a rack
✓ Home offices and studios
✓ Labs and test benches
✓ Meeting rooms and receptions
✓ Branch offices
✓ Tidy termination near the switch
Key Features
Dual IDC termination
Dual IDC connectors accept both LSA (Krone) and 110 punch-down tools, so installers can use the tool they already carry.
T568A / T568B colour coding
Each connector is colour-coded for both wiring schemes, so the installer terminates to the standard already used in the building.
Shielded design
A shielded steel housing keeps screening continuous from cable to switch when shielded cable and earthing are used.
Compact steel box
A 160 × 109 mm light grey steel housing that sits on a desk or shelf next to a small switch.

Singular Expert Insight
We suggest the 227369 for rooms without a cabinet where Cat6 runs from the walls need a proper end point: small offices, studios, labs. For Cat.5e cabling the 227308 does the same job; for 10 Gigabit, look at a Cat6A desktop panel. If you are planning a new cabinet, tell us the number of outlets and the switch you use and we suggest the panel, patch cords and tools together. Every order comes with Singular’s local support in Cyprus. See our patch panels for other formats and port counts, and the network switches to connect them to.
