The Equip Pro 8-outlet power distribution unit is a 19-inch 1U rack PDU with 8 German Schuko (DIN 49440) sockets and an ON/OFF switch, made to bring mains power to switches, routers, NAS units and servers inside a network cabinet.
It is rated 16 A / 3,500 W at 250 V, built in black plastic, and connects with a 1.8 m H05VV-F 3G 1.5 mm² cable ending in an angled Schuko plug. A screw kit and a quick installation guide are included.
Before you order: Cyprus wall sockets are BS 1363 (Type G). The PDU has a Schuko input plug, so plan the adapters before you order.

What It Means in Practice
- Mounts horizontally in one 1U slot of a 19" rack or cabinet, so power sits next to the equipment it feeds instead of on the cabinet floor.
- The angled Schuko plug needs a Schuko outlet near the rack, or a Schuko-to-UK adapter — a 13 A fused adapter limits the PDU to about 3,000 W.
- Servers, switches and NAS units with IEC C14 inlets connect with C13-to-Schuko power cords.
- The ON/OFF switch cuts all outlets at once for maintenance.
What Will Not Work
- Plugging straight into a Cyprus BS 1363 wall socket — the input is a Schuko plug.
- Devices with UK three-pin plugs — they need UK-to-Schuko adapters.
- Remote switching, metering or monitoring — this is a basic, unmanaged PDU.
- Surge or power-cut protection — feed it from a UPS if your equipment needs that.
