Equip 333309 — 1U Rack PDU, 7 Schuko Outlets, Surge Protection & Switch
7 × SchukoSurge protectionOn/Off switch16 A · 3500 W
The Equip 333309 is a 19-inch, 1U rack-mount power distribution unit with seven Schuko outlets, integrated surge protection and an on/off switch, built for network and server cabinets that need clean, protected power for switches, routers, NAS units and small servers.
It takes the place of a loose desktop power strip at the back of the rack: the aluminium body bolts horizontally into one rack unit, the 1.8 m cable with a 90° angled Schuko plug reaches a wall socket or a UPS with a Schuko output, and the switch lets you cut power to everything on the strip in one move during maintenance.
Before you order: The outlets are Schuko (German/European CEE 7/3). Devices with UK plugs or IEC C13/C14 power cords need the matching cable, and the whole strip shares one 16 A circuit — the 3500 W is the total for all seven outlets together, not per outlet.
What's in the Box
- 1 × Equip 333309 7-outlet rack PDU with fixed 1.8 m cable
- Screw kit for rack mounting
- Quick installation guide
What It Means in Practice
- Seven devices in one rack unit: a switch, router, firewall, NAS and a couple of PoE injectors or power bricks fit on one strip.
- Surge protection sits between the wall and your network gear, so a spike on the incoming line hits the PDU first instead of every power supply in the cabinet.
- The on/off switch is handy when you need to power down the whole cabinet before moving or re-cabling it.
- The angled plug keeps the cable flat against the wall when the cabinet stands close to the socket.
What Will Not Work
- It is not a UPS — there is no battery, so a power cut still switches everything off. Pair it with a UPS if your equipment must stay up.
- It does not monitor or switch individual outlets remotely; there is no network management, metering or per-outlet control.
- It will not accept IEC C13 cords directly — devices that ship with a C13 cord need a Schuko cord, or choose a C13-outlet PDU instead.
- It does not increase the capacity of the wall circuit: more than 16 A in total will trip the building breaker or the strip will be overloaded.
Key Features
Integrated surge protection
Protects connected equipment from voltage spikes on the incoming mains line before they reach your switches and servers.
Aluminium 1U housing
A rigid aluminium shell that mounts horizontally in a standard 19-inch rack and helps dissipate heat.
Master on/off switch
One switch powers the entire strip on or off, useful for maintenance and controlled shutdowns.
Angled Schuko plug
H05VV-F 3G 1.5 mm² cable, 1.8 m long, with a 90° angled CEE 7/7 plug for tight installations.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I plug this PDU into a UPS?
Yes, if the UPS has a Schuko output socket, since the PDU ends in a CEE 7/7 Schuko plug. If your UPS only has IEC C13 outlets, you need a C13-outlet PDU or an adapter cable rated for the load.
Does it fit a 10-inch rack?
No. It is a full 19-inch (482.6 mm) unit. For 10-inch cabinets you need a 10-inch power strip.
Is the 3500 W per outlet?
No, 3500 W / 16 A is the total for the whole strip. Add up the power supplies you plan to connect and stay under that figure.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
For a small network cabinet this is the sensible step up from a desk strip: seven Schuko sockets, surge protection and a master switch in one rack unit. If you are planning the rest of the cabinet, see our
rack accessories for shelves, blanking panels and cable managers that sit alongside it.
✓ Buy it if you run Schuko-plugged network gear in a 19-inch cabinet and want surge protection and a master switch in 1U.
✕ Skip it if your servers use IEC C13/C19 cords, you need a battery backup, or you want per-outlet monitoring — that calls for a UPS or a metered PDU.
→ Also consider Equip 333315 if you also want two USB charging ports, or Equip 333312 if you prefer a circuit breaker over surge protection.
