A television that disappears into the furniture
37in to 65in screens50 kg load capacityMotorised lift with RF remoteAnti-collision protectionVESA up to 600 x 400Curved TVs supported
The equip 650606 is a motorised lift column, not a bracket. The television bolts to the VESA plate on the carriage, the column goes inside a cabinet or a piece of joinery, and at the press of a remote button the screen rises out of the top and lowers back down out of sight. The top panel of the cabinet can be fixed to the carriage so it acts as a lid, closing flush when the lift is down. It is the mechanism behind the hotel-room, boardroom and living-room installations where the television is only visible when someone is actually watching it.
Compatibility — check before buying:
equip rates the 650606 for a single screen from 37 to 65 inches weighing up to 50 kg, and lists curved televisions as supported. The carriage takes VESA 200x200, 300x200, 300x300, 400x200, 400x300, 400x400 and 600x400. The column itself measures 660 x 215 x 1910 mm and weighs 17.6 kg, so the cabinet or recess it goes into has to be close to two metres tall internally. Profile depth from the wall is 115 mm.
Best For
✓ Boardrooms and meeting rooms where the screen should not dominate the room
✓ Hotel rooms and serviced apartments with a TV cabinet at the foot of the bed
✓ Living rooms where a large television is unwanted furniture most of the day
✓ Showrooms and reception areas with a screen that appears only for a presentation
✓ Joinery projects where the cabinet lid needs to lift with the screen
Key Features
Motorised lift, not a manual mechanism
A mains-driven motor raises and lowers the carriage. equip specifies it as a high-quality motor with strong lifting power and low noise, so the movement is smooth rather than the jerky travel cheaper columns give.
RF remote, so the cabinet can be closed
The supplied remote is radio frequency, not infrared. That matters: it works from a distance and through walls and cabinet doors, so there is no need for line of sight to a sensor. The screen can be raised before you walk into the room.
Anti-collision protection
The lift monitors resistance and stops if something blocks its path. On a mechanism carrying up to 50 kg of television that is the feature protecting both the screen and whatever got left on top of the cabinet.
The cabinet top can travel with the screen
equip designs the 650606 so the top panel of a cabinet can be mounted to the stand. The lid then closes over the television when the lift is down, giving a flat, uninterrupted surface with nothing visible.
VESA up to 600 x 400
Seven patterns are supported, which covers essentially every 37 to 65 inch television on sale. The 50 kg rating is generous for that size band, so a heavy older panel is unlikely to be a problem.
Stainless steel and aluminium construction
The load-bearing parts are stainless steel and aluminium with plastic trim, which is what you want in a mechanism that will run thousands of cycles over its life.

Frequently Asked Questions
Singular Expert Insight
Two numbers decide whether this works in your room, and only one of them is on the box. The 1910 mm column height is the easy one: your cabinet or recess has to swallow it. The one equip leaves out is the lift stroke, which is what actually determines how far above the cabinet lid the screen ends up. If you are having joinery made, get that figure confirmed first rather than building the carcass and discovering the screen sits too low. The other point worth making is that this is a piece of furniture hardware, not a TV bracket. It needs a mains supply inside the cabinet and a cable route that can tolerate nearly two metres of travel, so plan the power and the HDMI run with plenty of slack and a service loop.
