The Equip 129409 Professional Modular Crimping Tool is an all-metal ratchet crimper for terminating RJ45, RJ12, RJ11 and DEC modular plugs, aimed at installers and IT staff who make their own patch and phone cables. It covers 4P2C, 4P4C, 6P4C, 6P6C and 8P8C plugs in one tool.

The ratchet stays locked until the full compression stroke is completed, so every plug is crimped with the same force, and the supplied screwdriver lets you adjust the blades or swap the dies when they wear.
