The Equip EZD-3-G is a 3U 19-inch lockable drawer that gives a network or server cabinet its own secure storage for tools, patch cables, documentation and small spare parts. It is finished in Light Grey (RAL 7035) to match cabinets of the same colour.
The drawer measures 485 x 130 x 400 mm (W x H x D) and is made from 1 mm sheet steel. A key lock keeps the contents closed off, which is useful in shared comms rooms where several people have access to the rack.
Before you order: The drawer is 400 mm deep. Your cabinet needs at least that much free depth behind the front 19-inch rails.

What It Means in Practice
- Patch cables, adapters, labels and a small tool kit stay in the rack where they are needed, instead of lying on top of equipment.
- The key lock limits access to the contents in shared or customer-site cabinets.

- The front is colour-matched (Grey RAL 7035) for a uniform cabinet front.
What Will Not Work
- Cabinets with less than 400 mm free depth behind the front rails - the drawer will not close properly.
- Open-frame or 2-post racks where the drawer body cannot be supported - check with us first.
- It is not a data safe - the lock deters casual access but is not a security certification.
- Equip does not publish a load rating, so do not use it to store heavy equipment.
