Equip EZF-2-B - 1U 19-inch Rack Fan Unit with 2 Fans, Black RAL 9005
1U 19-inch2 x 120 mm fans240 V AC2 m cable
The Equip EZF-2-B is a 1U 19-inch fan unit with two 120 mm fans that moves warm air out of network and server cabinets. It mounts in any free rack unit and runs directly from mains power, finished in Black (RAL 9005).
The unit measures 482 x 44 x 176 mm (W x H x D), is built from 1 mm sheet steel, and draws 0.14 A at 240 V. A 2 m power cable is attached, so it can reach a PDU or socket at the bottom of the cabinet.
Before you order: Equip's product photos show a European Schuko-type mains plug on the 2 m power cable - in Cyprus plan for a Schuko-compatible PDU or a suitable adapter. Tell us how your cabinet is powered and we will confirm.
What's in the Box
- 1 x Equip 1U 19-inch fan unit with 2 x 120 mm fans
- 1 x 2 m power cable
What It Means in Practice
- Two 120 mm fans in one rack unit help clear hot spots above switches, NVRs and servers in closed cabinets.
- Mains powered at 240 V, so no separate low-voltage adapter is needed.
- At 176 mm deep it fits shallow wall cabinets as well as floor-standing racks.
- The Black RAL 9005 front matches cabinets of the same colour.
What Will Not Work
- It does not cool the air - it only moves it. In a hot room it cannot bring the cabinet below room temperature.
- It will not help much in an open-frame rack; fan units work best in closed cabinets with a clear air path.
- It does not plug directly into a UK-type (BS 1363) wall socket if your cable has the European plug shown by Equip.
- It is not a replacement for room air-conditioning in a server room.

Frequently Asked Questions
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
A 1U fan unit is the simplest fix for a closed wall cabinet that runs warm, for example one with a PoE switch and an NVR. Mount it above the hottest equipment and keep an air inlet lower down. More options are in our rack accessories.
✓ Buy it if you need extra airflow in a closed 19-inch cabinet and have a free rack unit and mains power.
✕ Skip it if you need thermostat control or actual cooling below room temperature.
→ Also consider The same unit in light grey RAL 7035 (EZF-2-G).
Not sure it fits your cabinet? Send us the cabinet model and how it is powered, and we will check before you order.
