Equip 128891 Angled USB-C Cable, 100 W, 1 m

100 W Power Delivery90° angled plug1 m · copper conductors

The Equip 128891 is a 1 m USB-C to USB-C cable with a 90-degree angled plug and a 100 W USB Power Delivery rating, carrying USB 2.0 data at 480 Mbit/s over copper conductors. The right-angle connector is the point: it lets the cable run flat along the side of a laptop, behind a monitor or against a wall instead of sticking straight out and taking the strain.

Power yes, video no. This is a 100 W charging cable built on USB 2.0 electronics, so it will power a full-size notebook but carries no DisplayPort Alt Mode video and no SuperSpeed data. If you need to drive a display or a fast drive from the same lead, choose a USB 3.2 or USB4 cable instead.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where does the angled plug help most?
Anywhere the cable would otherwise be pushed sideways: a laptop charging on a desk against a wall, a phone in a car cradle, a tablet on a stand, or a monitor whose USB-C port faces backwards. Straight plugs take that bending force at the connector, which is where cables usually fail.
Does 100 W need anything special from the charger?
It needs a charger that offers 20 V at 5 A and a device that asks for it. The cable itself handles the 5 A path; if either end is rated lower, charging simply falls back to whatever both agree on, with no risk to the equipment.
Singular Expert Insight
Angled USB-C cables are worth buying deliberately rather than by accident — they solve connector strain and cable clutter in exactly the places a straight cable is annoying. Equip pairs the angle with a full 100 W rating, which is more useful than it sounds: this can be a laptop’s permanent desk charging lead rather than just a phone cable. The compromise is data, which is USB 2.0 only. If you need one cable that charges and drives a monitor, look at the Gen 2 and USB4 options in our USB-C cables and adapters.
✓ Buy it if you charge a laptop or tablet in a tight spot where a straight plug would be strained.
✕ Skip it if the same cable also has to carry video or fast file transfers.
→ Also consider the 2 m Equip 128892 or 3 m 128893 if 1 m is too short.
