Equip 128887 USB-C to USB-C Cable — 480 Mbit/s, 2 m
USB 2.0480 Mbit/sPD 60 W2 m
The Equip 128887 is a 2 m USB-C to USB-C cable with up to 480 Mbit/s (USB 2.0 Hi-Speed) data transfer and USB Power Delivery up to 60 W (20 V / 3 A), made for connecting USB-C laptops, phones, tablets and accessories directly to each other or to a USB-C charger.
At 480 Mbit/s this is a charge-and-sync cable: right for phones, tablets, game controllers, keyboards, mice, headsets, e-readers and small USB-C gadgets. Copying a few photos or a document is fine; moving hundreds of gigabytes is not what it is for.
USB-C cables look alike but differ in three ways: data speed (from 480 Mbit/s up to 40 Gbit/s), power (60 W, 100 W or 240 W) and video support. This one is 480 Mbit/s with USB Power Delivery up to 60 W (20 V / 3 A) — check those two numbers against what your device needs.
What's in the Box
- 1 × Equip USB 2.0 C to C cable, 2.0 m
What It Means in Practice
- Length 2 m: long enough to reach from a wall socket or a PC under the desk to a sofa, bed or desktop, so the device can be used while it charges.
- Power: USB Power Delivery up to 60 W (20 V / 3 A). The charger and the device negotiate the actual wattage; the cable only sets the upper limit.
- Symmetrical: either end can go into the charger or the device.
- Plug-and-play: no driver needed on Windows, macOS, Linux, ChromeOS, Android or iPadOS.
What Will Not Work
- No 100 W or 240 W charging: laptops that ship with a 90–140 W charger will charge slowly or show a low-power warning.
- Not a Thunderbolt 4/5 or USB4 cable — docks and eGPU enclosures that require Thunderbolt/USB4 will not work at full function.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I charge a laptop with it?
Yes, if the laptop charges over USB-C Power Delivery and its charger fits within the cable rating (PD 60 W). A laptop that needs more than that will charge more slowly or warn about a low-power charger.
Does the cable carry video?
No video support is published for this cable, so do not plan on using it for a monitor; use a cable rated for DisplayPort Alt Mode or 4K video instead.
Does it matter which end goes where?
No. Both ends are identical USB-C plugs, and USB-C itself decides which side is the power source.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
A 2 m USB-C cable with 60 W Power Delivery covers phones, tablets, handheld consoles and most thin-and-light laptops — the length is what makes it comfortable at a desk or on the sofa. It is USB 2.0, so it is a charging and syncing cable, not a monitor or SSD cable. For chargers that match it, see our
laptop power supplies.
✓ Buy it if you want a long USB-C charging cable for a phone, tablet or ultrabook with a charger up to 60 W.
✕ Skip it if your laptop charger is above 60 W, or you need video or SSD speed.
→ Also consider If the device needs more than this cable carries, step up to a 100 W or 240 W e-marked USB-C cable; for monitors, a cable rated for 4K video.
