A full-speed metre of USB-C headroom

Male-to-female extension that carries 10 Gbit/s, 100 W charging and 4K 60 Hz video without cutting anything back.
10 Gbps100 W PD4K 60 Hz1 m

The Equip 128371 is a 1 m USB-C extension cable, plug to socket, for the times a port is behind a monitor, under a desk or on the back of a small PC. Part number 128371 keeps the full USB 3.2 Gen 2 data rate of 10 Gbit/s, passes 100 W of Power Delivery charging and supports 4K at 60 Hz video through DisplayPort Alt Mode, using shielded copper conductors in a 4.8 mm PVC jacket and weighing 50 g.

Before you buy · USB-C extensions are not part of the official USB-IF specification, so keep the extended run as short as you can and do not chain two of them together if you want 10 Gbit/s and 4K video to stay reliable.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will a docking station still work through this extension?
A simple hub or dock will usually run, but anything that relies on Thunderbolt or USB4 speed is capped at this cable's 10 Gbit/s. Where a dock is the centre of the desk setup it is better to position it within reach of its own cable than to add an extension in front of it.
Does the extension reduce charging speed?
No, provided the charger, the original cable and the laptop all agree on the same Power Delivery profile: the extension is rated to pass 100 W. The usual reason a laptop charges slowly after adding one is that the source cable itself is only rated for 60 W.
Singular Expert Insight
Equip has kept the three things that normally get lost in an extension — 10 Gbit/s, 100 W and 4K 60 Hz — which makes this a safe choice behind a monitor or a wall-mounted mini PC. One metre is the practical limit for keeping a fast link intact, and the black jacket disappears against most desks; the white 128376 is the same cable for a light setup. Browse the range in USB Type-C cables and adapters.
✓ Buy it if a USB-C port is out of reach and you do not want to give up speed, power or video to get to it.
✕ Skip it if you are extending a Thunderbolt or USB4 connection, or a longer cable would do the job in one piece.
→ Also consider 128370 at 0.5 m if the gap is small, or 128376 in white to match a lighter desk.
