Equip 133477 USB4 U-Shaped USB-C Adapter, 2-Pack

Turns a USB-C cable back on itself by 180° so it hugs the device — without giving up USB4 speed or 240 W charging.
USB4 · 40 Gbps240 W PD 3.1 (48 V / 5 A)8K 60 Hz · 2 adapters

The Equip 133477 is a pack of two USB4 U-plug adapters that fold a USB-C connection through 180°, so the cable runs back along the laptop, handheld console or tablet instead of sticking out. Each USB-C male to USB-C female adapter supports USB4 Gen 3x2 at up to 40 Gbps, USB PD 3.1 up to 240 W and video up to 8K at 60 Hz (host-dependent).

Compatibility Note: Speed, power and video are limited by the host port and the cable used with the adapter — 8K and 40 Gbps need a USB4/Thunderbolt host and a 40 Gbps cable.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is a U-shaped USB-C adapter useful?
On handheld PCs, tablets in stands and laptops against a wall, where a straight plug sticks out and gets bent. The 180° turn routes the cable back along the device and reduces strain on the port.
What is the difference between the Equip 133477 and 133476 or 133478?
133477 is the USB4 40 Gbps / 240 W version in a 2-pack; 133476 is a 10 Gbps / 100 W U-plug adapter, and 133478 is a USB4 3-pack mixing U- and L-shaped adapters.
Singular Expert Insight
A smart fix for USB-C ports that sit in awkward places — gaming handhelds, docked tablets and laptops near a wall. Because it is USB4 and 240 W rated, it will not bottleneck a fast dock, SSD or high-power charger. If you only charge a phone, a cheaper 10 Gbps adapter is enough.
✓ Buy it if you want to route a USB-C cable back along a device without losing 40 Gbps, 240 W or 8K support.
✕ Skip it if you need an L-shaped 90° turn instead of a full U-turn.
→ Also consider the Equip 133478 USB4 3-pack with U- and L-shaped adapters.
