Equip 128888 USB-C to USB-C Charging Cable, 60 W, 3 m

60 W Power DeliveryUSB 2.0 · 480 Mbps3 m reach
The equip 128888, part number 128888, is a 3 m USB-C to USB-C cable built for reach: it carries USB Power Delivery at up to 60 W (20 V / 3 A) from a socket on the far wall to a laptop, tablet or phone on the desk or sofa. Copper conductors with double shielding hold that current over the full three metres, and data moves at USB 2.0 speed for backups and accessory syncing.
Length has a trade-off: at 3 m this is a USB 2.0 cable at 480 Mbps. USB does not allow SuperSpeed over a passive cable of this length at full rate, so for external SSDs or docks choose a shorter 1 m or 2 m USB 3.2 cable instead.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will a 3 m cable still charge a laptop at 60 W?
Yes, provided the charger supplies it. Power Delivery negotiates 20 V at 3 A, and equip specifies copper conductors and double shielding precisely so the voltage holds over three metres. What matters more than length is that the charger itself is rated for 60 W or more.
Where does a 3 m cable make the most sense?
Rooms where the socket is nowhere near the desk, sofas and beds, meeting rooms, and workshop or shop-floor benches. It also suits a fixed installation where the charger is mounted out of sight and only the connector end is visible.
Singular Expert Insight
Buy this for the distance, not the data rate. Three metres of 60 W Power Delivery covers the awkward room layouts that force people into extension leads, and equip documents the copper and shielding that make that safe. If the same cable also has to feed a drive or a dock, keep a shorter USB 3.2 cable for that job — our USB-C cables and adapters range has both.
✓ Buy it if the charger and the device are far apart and you want full 60 W charging without an extension lead.
✕ Skip it if the cable needs to carry SuperSpeed data, video or more than 60 W.
→ Also consider equip 128346 at 1 m if you also need 5 Gbps data over the same cable.
