Equip 128870 USB 2.0 A to A Cable, Male to Male, 1.8 m

USB-A ↔ USB-A (M/M)USB 2.0 · 480 Mbit/s1.8 m · Black

The Equip 128870 is a 1.8 m USB 2.0 cable with a USB-A plug on both ends, for devices that have a USB-A socket instead of a USB-B or Micro-USB port, such as some drive enclosures, laptop cooling pads, KVM units and development kits. Equip specifies copper 28 AWG conductors, double shielding, nickel-plated connectors and a PVC jacket.

Compatibility note: A-to-A male cables are only for devices that explicitly use a USB-A socket as their input. Do not use it to connect two computers or two host ports directly: that is not supported by the USB standard and can damage the ports.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use the Equip 128870 to extend a USB cable?

Which devices typically need an A to A male cable?
Mainly devices with a USB-A input port: some external HDD enclosures and docks, laptop cooling pads, certain KVM switches, TV boxes and firmware or service ports on routers and boards. Check the device manual to confirm.
