Compatibility — check before buying:

✓ Users who want selectable pointer sensitivity
✓ Computers with a USB Type-A port
Key Features
Vertical handshake-style shape
Evoluent's vertical design supports the right hand in an upright position instead of the palm-down orientation used by conventional mice. A lower flange helps keep the little finger from rubbing against the desk surface.
Selectable optical sensitivity
The VerticalMouse 3 Rev 2 supports four sensitivity levels of 800, 1300, 1800 and 2600 DPI, allowing pointer speed to be adjusted for different applications and screen setups.
Five programmable buttons
The mouse provides five button inputs positioned for operation without excessive finger movement. Button functions can be customised where supported by compatible Evoluent software and operating systems.
Integrated scroll wheel
A conventional scroll wheel is integrated into the vertical control layout for document, browser and application navigation.
Wired USB reliability
The integrated 2-metre USB Type-A cable provides a direct wired connection without batteries, charging or a separate wireless receiver.
Full-size right-handed body
At approximately 80 × 113 × 77 mm, the VM3R2-RSB is a substantial desktop mouse designed specifically around right-handed use rather than an ambidextrous or compact travel form.

Singular Expert Insight
The VM3R2-RSB is an older Evoluent generation, but its main purchasing reason remains the same as newer VerticalMouse models: the distinctive right-handed vertical shape. Its 2600 DPI maximum is modest by gaming-mouse standards but more than adequate for normal desktop work, and the four selectable sensitivity settings provide useful flexibility across different displays. The five programmable buttons add practical shortcuts without turning the mouse into a gaming-focused design. Buyers should focus on handedness and connection type: this exact model is right-handed and wired USB.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You are right-handed and want a full-size wired vertical mouse with selectable sensitivity, five programmable buttons and a simple USB connection.
Skip it if
You need a left-handed, wireless, compact or gaming-focused mouse, or your computer has only USB-C ports and you do not want to use an adapter.
