The Fellowes Arc A3 is a hot pouch laminator for A3 documents that seals 80 micron pouches at about 300 mm per minute after a 4-minute warm-up, designed for light use of up to around 30 laminations a week at home or in a small office.
It keeps operation simple — power and ready LEDs, no carrier sheet, a release lever to clear a misfeed and an automatic shut-off after 30 minutes of inactivity — and handles photos as well as documents.
Before you order: The Arc is rated for 80 micron pouches only. Thicker 100, 125 or 175 micron pouches are not supported — buy 80 micron refills.

What It Means in Practice
- Anything up to A3 fits through the 318 mm entry: posters, notices, menus, children's work and photos.
- Allow about 4 minutes to warm up; the green LED shows when it is ready.
- At about 300 mm/min an A3 pouch passes in roughly 1.5 minutes.
- If a pouch goes in crooked, the release lever opens the rollers so you can remove it.
- If you forget it, the laminator switches itself off after 30 minutes without use (the power LED flashes for 5 minutes first).
What Will Not Work
- Pouches thicker than 80 micron are not supported.
- No cold lamination — self-adhesive cold pouches are not suitable.
- Not intended for heavy daily use; Fellowes rates it for light use of about 30 laminations per week.
- Maximum document thickness is 0.4 mm — card stock thicker than that will not feed.
