The ACTIV Pack is Mobilis's reinforced protective folio, built around TFP 4.0 - the company's own anti-shock material, which Mobilis says absorbs up to 90 percent of impact energy instantly and then disperses it. This version is cut specifically for the Lenovo ThinkPad X12 Gen 1 and Gen 2, and it is keyboard compatible, so the detachable keyboard stays attached. Mobilis publishes the numbers rather than adjectives: more than 200 drops from 1.20 metres, eight times the requirement of MIL-STD 810-G, and certification to IK08 for impact resistance. It weighs 366 grams and is made in France.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This is a device-specific case: Mobilis cuts it for the Lenovo ThinkPad X12 Gen 1 and ThinkPad X12 Gen 2, 12.3", and it works with the detachable keyboard attached. It will not fit other models. Two disclosures. Mobilis states plainly that the product is not licensed, authorised or approved by Lenovo. And the legal footnote on Mobilis's own datasheet for this reference mistakenly names the Lenovo Tab M11 and Tab K11 - a copy-paste error from its tablet range. The product title, reference and EAN are unambiguously ThinkPad X12; ignore the Tab line.

That is worth more than a page of "rugged" adjectives, and it is why the ACTIV Pack turns up in field and education deployments. Two things to be clear about. Mobilis makes no water-resistance claim at all here, despite a retailer spec table saying otherwise. And the datasheet for this exact reference carries a copy-paste error naming the Lenovo Tab M11 and K11 in its legal footnote - the product is for the ThinkPad X12 Gen 1 and Gen 2, confirmed by the title, reference and EAN. Practically, the two things that decide most purchases here are that it takes the keyboard and that it stands up for typing.
